![]() ![]() ![]() I'm giving smart switch a second desperate try and this time round I'm receiving no notifications from windows (so I suppose that's a good thing.). While the phone was connected, window's kept giving the notification that the device was not recognized. Right now, I'm attempting to use smart switch and the emergency recovery function but it has not worked the first time, at the second stage where installation actually takes place. I redownloaded the stock firmware for 925I from a couple of places and they're all 1.5gb+ but every time I try to even load the firmware Odin just hangs and I have to end the task. In any case, when I returned home I tried to flash the same stock firmware that I used earlier but ODIN failed. I actually took a trip down to the service centre where the tech actually managed to turn the device off, and I was told that warranty was void. The program suggested that I restart my phone so as to get rid of those changes.which I did. Then.having the itchy hands I do, I checked out the security portion under settings, and I saw that there was "unauthorized changes made". I disabled USB debugging (Bootloader option is not available for my mode, SM-G925I). So I got back into the device and tried to change the settings back to what they were before. I then managed to "recover" the device by using Odin and flashing a stock firmware. ![]() So my phone essentially got stuck when it restarted at the "Samsung S6 Edge: Powered by Android" black screen. I attempted to root the device using kingo but it failed. I cannot turn the phone off, I cannot go into recovery, and I cannot go into download mode. Select the Pit option and use the extracted pit from in your firmware folder. Select all 5 of the downloaded files (BL, AP, CP, CSC and USERDATA). Open Odin with Admin privileges and connect the phone. It might take up to 10 minutes on the first boot. Start the flashing and wait for the phone to start up on its own. ONLY USE NAND ERASE AND RE-PARTITION IF YOUR PHONE GETS PUT INTO EMERGENCY RECOVERY MODE. Save it in the original firmware (.tar.md5) folder. Use 7zip or PeaZip to open your CSC on your desktop and extract the PIT file. Copy the CSC to your desktop and delete the. I do not know about the S10.Īfter your firmware is downloaded extract it to a folder. ![]() TCE is supposed to have the latest software patches at least for my A70. I have the A70SM/DS and the original manual had Spanish on it and I was told it was the Latin America version. You can download your firmware from here. Download the latest Odin 3.14 if you weren't already using it. It would probably be best to get the latest Android 10 firmware linked below. Confirm that it is SM-G937F/DS so you will at least have the right firmware when you download it. Look on the back of the phone and you will see the phone model number. Were you able to get it sorted out? Did you bring it to a Samsung Repair Center? I thank in advance anyone who would spend his her time to help me. Now i would appreciate anyone who can suggest a solution for my problem or if anyone can tell me if theres a way to get to know the original factory installed firmware through the imei or serial number of the phone. I have to say that i cant get to download mode by the pressing of any combinations of keys.the only screen that appears is the above mentioned error.even that apoears only when connected to power supply or usb through pc.otherwise if cable is disconnected theres no way of getting it on. Here are where the issues are going to smart switch app the app doesnt recognize my says unsupported device.so i cant follow any suggestions found on this forum like selecting the more option and then emergency recovery function cos the phone isnt recognized.theres only an option to recover using recovery code but unfortunately i dnt have that code.the other problem is that by using odin i dont know the exact firmware file that was installed previously on the phone so when i try to flash with odin a ramdomly downloaded firmware it fails if i use modded odin or it gets stuck on recovery.img if i use not modded odin.
